Office Changes to Keep You Safe
We have made important changes in our office to keep you safe during your visit.
Everyone’s safety is our top priority!
All patients are required to have a scheduled appointment to be seen. Walk-ins are welcome by calling us directly at 617-944-9682 to set up an appointment at your earliest convenience.
For your safety and others, our front waiting area only allows two patients at a time. We kindly ask for your patience to wait outside if needed.
All patients are required to wear face coverings as mandated by Massachusetts government effective on May 6th, 2020. All patients will be asked to remove their face covering in the operatory room right before the start of examination/treatment.
A medical grade air purifier is added to our waiting room to filter out viral particles down to the size of 0.003 microns (smaller than the size of Coronavirus which is 0.06-0.14 microns).
Waiting room chairs have been rearranged to better accommodate social distancing with others.
Sneeze guards have been installed on the front reception counter for better social distancing with our staff and ensuring your safety at check-in.
All patients upon entry are required to use hand sanitizer first. Hand sanitizer, Kleenex, and disinfecting wipes are available in the front area for your convenience.
Pens shared by patients at the front counter has a device for your convenience to sanitize pen right before and after use.
We encourage the use of a cash alternative like credit cards or contactless payment by phone.
Our credit card machine key pad has a protective cover to minimize cross contamination between patients.
All highly touched areas in the waiting room including door knobs, front counter, pens, credit card keypad/pen, signing pad, chairs, floor, coat hangers are all disinfected frequently.
Operatory rooms have always been thoroughly disinfected with Caviwipes and all instruments follow CDC and OSHA protocols of cleaning and high heat autoclave sterilization in between each patient use.
Window in each operatory room is partially opened to allow for adequate air ventilation.
A medical grade air purifier is added to each operatory room to filter out viral particles down to the size of 0.003 microns (smaller than the size of Coronavirus which is 0.06-0.14 microns)
Prior to entering treatment operatory rooms, we will have you complete a wellness form and have your body temperature checked with a digital non-contact infrared thermometer by scanning your forehead. All patients must pass the wellness and temperature check before treatment can begin.
Shoe covers will be offered to all patients and required to wear upon entering operatory rooms for your safety and others.
At the end of all appointments, all patients are asked to remove shoe covers and use hand sanitizer prior to departing our office. Trash can and hand sanitizer are available by the exit.
Our team has proper PPEs on (including surgical head covers, gowns, masks, face shields, gloves, shoe covers) to ensure your safety and their own.
Our bathroom already adopts a strict cleaning protocol and a set cleaning schedule with EPA approved disinfecting products. We recommend our patients prior to leaving the bathroom, touch the door knob with paper towel in hand to minimize cross contamination. There is an additional trash can outside the bathroom for your convenience to toss the soiled paper towel.
We highly recommend that if you have signs of coughing, sneezing, fever, and/or traveled recently—- please get tested, self quarantine at home until symptoms subside, and contact us to reschedule your appointment 48 hours in advance (if possible) to avoid the $35 cancellation charge.
If you experience shortness of breath, visit your nearby medical emergency room ASAP.
